The volunteers in our Visitor Centre are always ready with a friendly face and a warm welcome.
Enjoy our interactive display about bees, browse through our beekeeping books and gifts, book courses and watch the bees in our apiary via our live webcam. If the weather is fine, it’s sometimes possible to enjoy a visit to the on-site apiary – please call ahead to check availability.
We are just 10 minutes from the A55 and just a few minutes more from Llandudno Junction railway station and the national rail network. The Bodnant Estate offers a range of attractions, including their famous National Trust garden and Bodnant Welsh Food Centre so why not spend a day here?
In Capel Curig, near Betws y Coed, one of Snowdonia’s most beautiful villages, visitors can explore a bee-friendly garden and learn more about bees and their habitats.
The Snowdonia Society has teamed up with the National Beekeeping Centre Wales and developed Tŷ Hyll (The Ugly House) as a visitor centre, bee garden and tearoom. Here visitors can find out all about the Welsh honeybee.
